After finishing the book, I loved that there was a list of all of the words in the story. I have a new reader who likes to sound words out. This makes picking books a lot easier because I like to find new animals or complex words for him to practice. I’ll be recommending this series to my 1st grade mom friends and teachers.

I can't wait to use this with students! From the colors and bugs and the enrichment tips in the back will be great for the classroom. Plus the concept of the beekeeper needing to smoke out the bees for honey and this is their activity to wait it out was really cute.

Kids will also learn all about the amazing life cycle of a butterfly. The rhyming is on point, and the illustrations are a perfect complement to this sweet story!
